Educators and parents work closely together here.
Kinderwelt is a parent-run kita (Elterninitiative) and a registered association (e.V.).
This means that educators and parents work closely together.
Parent-hours per parent, per kita year
When signing the contract, parents commit to six parent-hours each, per kita year. This gives every parent the chance to actively take part in everyday kita life.
What can parent-hours look like?
- As so-called parent duties, i.e. helping with the care of the children.
- For repairs, gardening or maintenance work – parent-hours are often used for this.
Staying in touch
Collaboration with parents is strengthened through daily brief exchanges at drop-off and pick-up, parents' evenings and development discussions.
The board
A board is elected from among the parents, who commit to representing our kita externally. Find out who they are on the Board page. The association's statutes can be found here.
